Fear

"Excuse me!"
Somebody stops you on the street, to ask how time is it. Before any other reaction, you look this person from the head to the feet, to see if she has a suspect atitude. Then, after a trully instantanlly scan, you look your watch or your cellphone and answer her.

Well. This is the reallity. We are afraid. All the time, we are afraid of thiefs, terrorists, wars... A lot of shadows on our heads, making us stay far one of another, thinking all the time on the doors we have left opened. Is this life? Is this real? All these actions, they really are good for us?

I talk about me. About all people who look before go out of home, afraid of what we'll find out there. We lock ourselves, more and more. The media bombards us all the time, with crimes, murders, wars, making us think that the world is a battle camp. But, in fact, is that true?

And not just about the exterior. Inside us, we are getting afraid of expose ourselves. What will the people think about us? If I show who I am, who will be the first to throw a stone on my face? The superficial relationships are just a way to scape of this contact more deep. And what happens? We get sad, we feel frustrated, searching always for more of that moments of hapinnes. What's the purpose of this? Is this really all we can have?

Make something different today. Don't be so afraid. Talk with somebody you don't know, just say "Good morning" when you see someone on your way. These little actions, when they are made by many people, can make a big difference. This is not a cliché positivism. This is just how people used to live, when they were not afraid one of the others. And to break prejudices, fears, hates, and others reasons that makes our world a place to fight by the survival, we need to have contact, and don't be afraid of anyone. Because there, on that "dark place", these is just another person, with feeling, wishes and, believe, fears.
